The Jim Hogg County Fair Association is excited to announce the dates for its 39th Annual Jim Hogg County Fair. This year we will be celebrating our annual event on March 15-16, 2024. We hope you will be able to attend and enjoy the fun with us.

The primary source of funding for our event is from sponsors, such as yourself. As you may be aware, the JHC Fair Association has created this event for the youth of Jim Hogg County to showcase their yearlong projects. Your sponsorship will assure the success of the JHC Fair.

2024 Rancher of the Year

Robert Fulbright

Robert Fulbright was born on November 28, 1941 in Laredo, TX. He graduated from Hebbronville High School in May of 1960. After graduation, Mr. Fulbright attended Texas A&I University where in 1965 he received a degree in Business Administration.

Mr. Fulbright then served in the Air Force Reserve. Upon completion of his service, Mr. Fulbright received his honorable discharge.

Mr. Fulbright is a lifelong resident of Hebbronville and has worked on the family ranch from 1969 to today.

He has served the community in many capacities:

He served 24 years on the Region M Water Planning Group,
He served 13 years on the Brush Country Water District,
He has served 44 years on the Frist National Bank of Hebbronville Board of Directors, 24 years as the Chairman of the Board.
He has served on the Board of Directors for the Monte Mucho SWCD.

He is a member of Our lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Mr. Fulbright is married to his wife, Agnes Dee Hillje and has 2 daughter, four grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
